I am potter living and working in Ballydehob West Cork.

I make functional pots to be held and used. Each one is unique - no bowl or beaker is ever the same. I love that people can reach for the pieces they are drawn to and hold and feel the ceramic pots in their hands and to eat and drink from them.

The glazes reflect the colours and the ever changing beauty of the natural world in West Cork. I love creating groups of pots of different sizes and shapes that can stack together and which reflect the shapes and colours found, for example, along a tide line or the line of a horizon.

In order to make each ceramic vessel there is a magical interplay of the elements - earth, water, air, and fire - which transforms the clay into functional pieces that can be used in our daily lives over and over again.
